Stories from recruitment!

I have a number of stories to narrate from my experience in recruitment. But one thing is common across all the stories.

And, that is: Nobody opposes the idea of growth in career. Howsoever one might be well settled in an organization, they definitely like the idea of further growth.

Companies grow because the people who work there grow. People make companies. Not the other way around.

When I look at a resume, I can immediately say whether it’s a hire or not. Once, we were working on a Java Architect position. We came across a profile from the BFSI domain. Though he had worked in Java, it was more of a Business Analyst role that he had played and had the experience of working in the US for several years & was in India when we got in touch. We positioned the candidate for a BA role. He was selected & sent to US immediately. He called me up & thanked. And he said: “You guys are doing a phenomenal job”. My team & I didn’t forget that for a long time. That still continues to ring in my ears.

Little encouragement such as this, is the incentive in recruitment. And the feeling that you are helping someone is priceless.

I strongly feel, recruitment is a Sales job at both the ends – employer end & candidate end. I treat both of them with equal respect & consider them both my clients.

Happyselling!!
